Made to feel very welcome by whole family, excellent accommodation in superb setting, very friendly.

The whole experience from warm welcome on arrival , afternoon tea and fantastic rooms. Breakfast was first class as good as any hotel. Husband and wife team have it off to perfection for all their visitors.

What a fantastic place! I have to say.. having read the reviews before staying, I thought that my expectations would be too high but we definately were not disapointed. This B&B is an exeptional place to stay. The rooms are immaculately clean and well decorated. The owner, Avril was such a lovely person - so kind, and greated us with a lovely cup of tea and fresh homade scones / cake when we arrived. The breakfast was more than excellent - I'm suprised at one or two comments saying there was not alot of variety! The dogs Buddy and Bobo made the stay even more special - what a lovely place, run by lovely people in a lovely setting. Would definately recommend and we will be back again soon.

Nothing - staying in this B&B was a much more pleasurable experience than the 4 star hotel we previously stayed in the night before.

More variety for breakfasts

Sandymount is a wonderfull place to stay ! We were welcomed with tea and homemade cookies and cake, such a joyfull welcome by Avril and the dogs Buddy and Bobby.

The owners are incredibly friendly and hospitable. They make you feel at home and the rooms are cozy. Homemade breakfast in the morning was fantastic!

Most excellent B&B - striking residence, exquisitely furnished and hosts very friendly and helpful. Thought I was in heaven for a brief moment. Cannot recommend this highly enough - only wish my whole stay in Ireland had been so wonderful. Did not want to leave. Do yourself a favour and go there for a few days . . . . . .one night is not enough. Breakfast delightful. I hope to return one day just for the sheer pleasure. Thanks.

I loved Sandymount House - Avril and Robin were so friendly, the breakfast was lovely and they served it as late as you wanted it, or as early. The rooms are all lovely and it is in a great location.

Great hospitality. Great tea with homemade pastry and wonderful breakfast. Our two year old son also enjoyed all the great food as well as playing with two lovely dogs in the garden.

Hospitality, warm welcome, Ruth and Robin were interested in our journey, Robin even drove us to a restaurant & pub so that we could drink. Surprising! And they helped us find a next B&B.
